The Fisher Cats used the long ball and a 5-run 8th inning to snap a five-game losing streak last night.
Samad Taylor hit a pair of homers for New Hampshire, including a three-run opposite field shot to the short right field porch in that 8th inning explosion to put the game away:

Starter Johnny Barbato, pitching in his first affiliated game since 2018, pitched into the sixth inning, but a Jordan Grohsans error allowed Binghamton to tie the game, and it was a no-decision for Barbato. Curtis Taylor pitched 2.2 innings of scoreless relief for the W.

Syracuse 7 Buffalo 6
First inning long balls by Kevin Smith and Riley Adams (his third in two games) staked the Bisons to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on in a loss to the Mets.
Starter Nick Allgeyer went five innings before handing things over to the pen with the Bisons up 5-2, but a six run 6th put Binghamton in front by a run. A Cullen Large RBI single in the bottom half of the frame tied the game, but Binghamton went into the lead for good in the 7th. A Smith error at SS and a pair of walks by Patrick Murphy loaded the bases, and the go-ahead run came home when the Bisons couldn’t complete a double play.
Low A
Bradenton 11 Dunedin 1
A 9-run 7th inning eruption by the visiting Marauders blew open what had been a tight contest with the D-Jays.
Starter Lazaro Estrada gave up only one run in 4 IP, while Rafael Ohashi tossed a pair of scoreless innings. Things came unglued for Dunedin in the 7th when Elixon Caballero walked all four batters he faced, setting the stage for the Bradenton outburst.
Leo Jimenez had three hits for Dunedin.
High A
Eugene 7 Vancouver 4
Once again, the C’s were not able to solve the Emeralds.
A 2nd inning error by 2B Luis De Los Santos kept the frame alive for Eugene, who would score two runs and take the lead after the C’s had opened the scoring in the bottom of the 1st.
Starter Adam Kloffenstein left the game with two out in the 5th having allowed four runs (two earned) on three hits and four walks. He struck out five on the night. De Los Santos and SS Tanner Morris had a pair of hits for the C’s.
