Vancouver 7 Eugene 5
In his first outing since coming off a 2019 PED suspension last week, right-hander Luis Quiñones was brilliant, tossing five shutout innings of one hit ball and fanning five. Last night, he was simply outstanding .
The 2019 34th rounder gave up a first inning two run homer, but threw blanks the rest of the way. Over 5 innings, Quiñones struck out 11, and walked 3. The first inning blast was the only hit he allowed.
Rafael Lantigua paced the C’s attack with 3 hits, while Marcus Reyes pitched two innings for the Save.

Austin Martin’s first pro home run wasn’t enough to help the Fisher Cats, who were drubbed by the Rumble Ponies.
Martin’s shot was impressive just the same. Down 1-2, he refused to expand his strike zone, fouled off a borderline pitch, and worked the count full. On the next pitch, he barrelled a ball to LF:
Starter Troy Miller was touched up for 7 runs on as many hits. 3B LJ Talley’s bat continued to be hot, as he slammed his third round tripper of the season for the ‘Cats.
Low A
Bradenton 9 Dunedin 7
It was a wild 9th inning at the Bank in Dunedin, as the D-Jays fell to the Marauders.
Dunedin led Bradenton 6-5 heading into the last inning, but Bradenton struck for four in the top of the 9th to take the lead. A 3-run D-Jays comeback in the home half of the inning fell just short. Miguel Hiraldo went 2-4 and hit his third homer of the season for Dunedin; PK Morris chipped in with his third as well. Nick Frasso pitched a scoreless inning of relief.
Buffalo and Syracuse were rained out.
