Nash Knight homered and Jacob Waguespack pitched three shutout innings before the skies opened up in Pennsylvania. The game was halted in the top of the 4th will Logan Warmoth about to come to the plate.

The two teams will pick up the suspended game today at 5 pm, then play their regularly scheduled game after it.

AA

New Hampshire Somerset ppd.

The heavy rains that disrupted the Bisons and rained out the Blue Jays was felt in New Jersey as well, forcing the postponement of yesterday’s game between the Fisher Cats and the Patriots. The two teams will play a double header today, starting at 4.

High A

Eugene 7 Vancouver 3

There was no rain to be felt on the west coast, as the C’s fell to a prospect-laden Eugene squad.

Starter CJ Van Eyk was touched for 7 hits and 4 runs (all earned). Davis Schneider hit his second HR of the season for the C’s.

Low A

Tampa 7 Dunedin 1

Tampa took the first game of a twin bill over the D-Jays. Patrick Murphy pitched an inning in his rehab stint, allowing a run and 3 hits over one IP, striking out 3.

Dunedin 4 Tampa 3

The D-Jays scored four in the bottom of the 1st, and hung on to win the nightcap.

Starter Alejandro Melean threw three shutout innings, and Zach Britton drove in a pair of runs with this third homer of the season. Adrian Hernandez pitched three innings of scoreless relief to pick up his third Save.
