Overton turned the game over to the Buffalo bullpen with his team up 1-0. The Bisons/Thunder blew things wide open with a six run seventh. Rochester responded with 3 in the top of the 8th off of Curtis Taylor, promoted from New Hampshire when the Blue Jays selected the contract of Nick Allgeyer.

Breyvic Valera had three hits for Buffalo, while Kevin Smith had a pair and drove in two runs.

Low A

Bradenton 2 Dunedin 0

Sem Robberse threw three shutout innings, but his D-Jays offence was stymied as four Bradenton pitchers combined to no-hit Dunedin.

High A

Vancouver 4 Spokane 2

Vancouver scored 4 times in the first 3 innings, and Adam Kloffenstein pitched a season-high six innings as the C’s won their fourth game in a row.

Spencer Horwitz and Phil Clarke each had a pair of hits and RBI to pace the Vancouver attack.

Somerset 5 New Hampshire 3

The visiting Patriots struck for 3 in the 8th inning to top the Fisher Cats.

New Hampshire Zach Logue took a no-hitter into the 5th inning. Reliever Mike Ellenbest, who hadn’t given up a run in his previous two outings, allowed Somerset to take the lead with a trio of runs in the 8th.

Otto Lopez and Austin Martin had a pair of hits for the Fisher Cats. Reggie Pruitt pinch-hit for Martin in the 7th – there has been no word as to Martin’s status as of this morning.
