Coming in at number 19 is Kendall Williams, a second-round pick in the most recent MLB draft out of IMG Academy. Williams impressed in his short time in the minors this season, tallying up 19 K’s in 16 Innings, with a 1.13 ERA and a 0.81 WHIP. He only gave up 6 hits, and walked 7 batters and didn’t allow a single HR.
To say he started off his MiLB career with a bang is an understatement. I wasn’t a big fan of the pick at the time and still have my doubts, but Williams has been a bright spot on the jays’ Rookie league team where a lot of pitchers have struggled.
Williams just turned 19 and has a 20 Current grade, but a 45 future grade, giving him a 35.5 total grade.
